Here we are again, dear friends...in touch to share our year... And wishing each and every one the Finest Season's Cheer!!!
Normally we journalize events that we've been through,
As our way of, at least annually, sharing us with you!
But this year's been a little different, and so's what we would share...
We'd like to toast this holiday with a small collective prayer!!!
So join with us as we recall our blessings from this year,
And ask that we be kept in God's good graces!
Knowing...taking solace...that His love is ever near...
And visible in all your lovely faces!!!
Keep us grateful, Lord, as we revel in the treasure...
Each of us will find beneath the tree!
May we not be so distracted by that moment's passing pleasure...
We forget the gift You gave to set us free!!!
For, on this day...in Bethlehem...two thousand years ago...
A Savior had been born...a God-Child gift was given!
And this Gift is no less special...two millennia down the road...
It still reigns unsurpassed...this Christmas gift from heaven!!!
So enjoy your gifts this year...but always keep in mind...
This wondrous gift from God is still the reason!
Christmas is a HOLY day, wherein you will find,
The first word IS Christ...it is HIS Season!!!
